What is Oxchord?
Oxchord is a music sharing platform aimed at being a community builder for music creators and fans. Providing a way to interact and share with each other without the distractions that come with other social media platforms. No sh*t posts. No memes. Just music and music lovers. Get found locally, get found globally.
Why?
We think social media is killing music… sort of. While they are the best tools for reaching people currently, you’re also competing not with every other artist in the world, but you’re competing with the 100,000,000 posts being uploaded to these platforms daily. If the odds weren’t bad enough, you also have algorithms being changed weekly. Deciding if your content (your song) is good enough to be shown to people. And when people are in full swipe mode why would they stop to check you out?

MISSION
Our goal is make a music community artists actually feel heard in.
We’ve noticed that with other social media platforms, it's too hard to be found without posting every single day (a liberty some of us starving artists can’t afford), too hard to get seen by music fans, and impossible to build a local following.
Oxchord’s goal is to concentrate your potential fans into one app, to help you build a following locally, globally, and from people who actually care about your sound. All in one little app!
Why is oxchord better than promoting your music on other socials?
The answer? People aren’t on the app for the same reason as you and, are lazy. When you make a post for your music on other socials, you write your caption, add a call out, and put a link to your song in your bio. Rarely considering the fact that:
1) Most people are on that app to look at memes or what that one guy is up to these days.
2) Even if your post lands at the fingertips of someone who likes your song, clicking through to your bio, smashing the link to your song, and exiting the app to listen, is way too much for most. (People are lazy).
Oxchord thins the crowd so your song gets in the hands of music lovers, playlist builders, and song sharers.
Have we mentioned that we have links to your music streaming services directly from your posts yet
