What is Oxchord?
Oxchord is a music sharing platform aimed at being a community builder for music creators and fans. Providing a way to interact and share with each other without the distractions that come with other social media platforms. No sh*t posts. No shirtless flexing (unless you want to). Nothing but music and music lovers. Get found locally, get found globally.
Why?
With other social media platforms, your song is just another post amongst millions of other kinds of posts and audiences. And when you leave your song in the binary hands of your preferred music streaming services algorithms, you 1) only reach the people on that platform; whereas oxchord will show you every song on every platform, and 2) you let your songs reach get determined by an algorithm that fizzles out your masterpiece.
OUR MIIISSIIION
MISSION
MISSION
MISSION
MISSION
Our mission is to recreate the way we share and discover our musical creations and favorite songs.
We’ve noticed that with other social media platforms, it's too hard to be found without posting every single day (a liberty some of us starving artists can’t afford), too hard to get seen by our target audiences, and too hard to give people a link to our streaming platforms.
Oxchord’s goal is to concentrate your potential fans into one app, to help you build a following locally, globally, and from people who actually care about your sound. All in an app that doesn’t limit your song’s growth.
Why is oxchord better than promoting your music on other socials?
The answer? People aren’t on the app for the same reason as you and, are lazy. When you make a post for your music on other socials, you write your caption, add a call out, and put a link to your song in your bio. Rarely considering the fact that:
1) Most people are on that app to look at memes or what that one guy is up to these days. (Your Audience isn’t on that app).
and 2) Even if your post lands at the fingertips of someone who likes your song, clicking through to your bio, smashing the link to your song, and exiting the app to listen, is way too much for most. (People are lazy).
Oxchord thins the crowd so your song gets in the hands of music lovers, playlist builders, and song sharers.
Have we mentioned that we have links to your music streaming services directly from your posts yet
